Adhi Vaidyanadha Swami Temple is located in Mannipallam, a few kilometers away from Vaitheeswaran Kovil. This Temple is older to the Vaitheeswaran Kovil Temple and it is believed that this Temple should be Prayed first. The Presiding Deity is Sri Vaidhyanatha Swamy and His Consort is Thayyal Nayagi. The Temple is located 100 meters away from the main road. The Rajagopuram is East facing and the Temple has an iron gate and compound wall on all four sides. The painful fact is this Temple is in shambles and is ill maintained with plants and weeds growing from the Rajagopuram, compund wall etc. There is a Dwajasthambam and a Nandhi, and beyond it is the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Presiding Deity. There are Shrines for Thayyal Nayaki and Ganesha. There is a Sacred Tank oppsite to the Temple but the tank is full of water plants and other weeds and is unfit for any Divine use. The Temple compound is in a dilapidated state and may crumble very soon if not attended. This is the right Temple for the HR&CE to step in and take over so that the Devotees don't lose an ancient Temple.
