This Temple is located in Vallakottai very close to Sriperumbudur in Kanchipuram District. The Temple is nearly 1000 years old and has a 5 tier Rajagopuram built by an ancient King Bageerathan in a typical Dravidian style. The Presiding Deity of the Temple is Lord Murugan or Subramnaiya Swami. The Deity is one of the tallest in India. The idols of Deivannai and Valli, Consorts of Lord Murugan, are placed on his either sides. This Temple has an equal importance to that of Arupadai Veedu. This Temple can be frequented easily from Tambaram, Sriperumbudur and Kanchipuram by local bus.
