This Temple is located in a picturesque ambience and was built in the year 1965. It is actually located in Magurmari near Zikzak in South West Garo Hills of Meghalaya. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Maha Kaali but the Temple is also known as Charantala Kali Mandhir. Goddess Kaali is believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Sakthi. The Temple is one of the most sought after Temple in this part and is visited all around the year not only by the local Devotees but by other Devotees too who happen to come from far flung areas. The Temple looks resplendent and has been designed and built in a typical North Indian style of Architecture. During Kaali Pooja and Durga Pooja it is believed that nearly 10 Lakh Devotees visit this Temple and many among them offer Cattles and Birds as their Sacrifice to the Goddess.
