The Presiding Deity of this Devi Karumariamman Temple is Goddess Karumari Amman. She is an incarnation of Goddess Sakthi. Though this Temple is very small it is believed that the Presiding Deity has enormous powers. This Temple is located in Sheela Nagar Lake View area in Puzhidhivakkam near Madipakkam.  It is believed that the Presiding Deity Blesses childless couples who come here and pray and tie a bell in this Temple. This Temple is being developed by the local residents.  Most of the Temple structure are temporary in nature. This Temple was initially built under a Neem tree. Abhishekam is performed to the Presiding Deity on Full Moon Days, Kirthikai, Sankadahara Chaturthi. There is a Balipeedam and Her Vahanam a Lion faces the Sanctum Sanctorum. There are Idols of Nagadevthas.  On the rear side of the Temple complex there is a huge lake. This Temple also has an Utsavar Amman. There are Idols of Irratai Pillayar and Murugan.
