The Presiding Deity is Lord Vishnu as Vaikundavasa Perumal.  His Consort is known as Janakavalli Thayar.  This Temple has a five tiered east facing Rajagopuram.  The Bali Peedam and Dwajasthambam are found close to the Main Entrance.  The Temple Inscriptions dates back to early Chola period.   The Uthsavar is known by the name Prayoganathar.  The Presiding Deity Vaikundavasa Perumal's Idol is found in a standing posture with Sree Devi and Bhoo Devi on either sides.  The Sthala Viruksham here is Pinna Maram.  The Temple has a Pushkarani or Temple Tank of its own and is called by the name Chakkara Theertham.  Janakavalli Thayar and Andal occupy Seperate Sannadhis.  Alwars and Narasimhar have seperate Shrines too.  The Temple has an exclusive Chariot / Temple Car.  The Temple is well maintained by the Authorities of Ahobila Mutt.
