The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Shirdi Sai Baba. In the year 1939 H.H.B.V. Narasimha Swamiji, Sri. C.Varadaraja Ayyah and Sri A.V.K. Chari started the Sai Movement in Coimbatore. This Temple was constructed in the year 1939 and a Sai Baba Mutt was established and all Devotees were allowed to get the Blessings of Sai Baba. Varadharaja Ayya donated around one acre of land to construct this Temple. Initially a thatched shed was built. On 26th Febuary 1961 a Marble Idol of Shirdi Sai Baba was installed by Sathya Sai Baba. This was the first time Sathya Sai Baba installed an Idol of Shirdi Sai Baba. This Temple is known as Naga Sai Baba since some people believe that in Shirdi a Snake came out of a Flower to listen to the speech of Sai Baba in Shirdi. There is a Sacred Stick inside this Temple complex which was  used by Sai Baba. There is a Golden Chariot with a Golden Idol of Sai Baba installed in it. The Sacred Dhuni flame was brought from Banglore Sai Mandhir. That flame was lit  from the original Dhuni from Shirdi. This Temple is well maintained and kept meticulously clean by Sri Naga Sai Trust. Thousands of Devotees visit this Temple since Thursdays are considered to be very auspicious for Sai Baba.
