This Sivan Parvathy Temple is located in a picturesque ambience in Yelagiri which is a Hill Station. It is located in a place called Mangalam Road in Yelagiri. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Shiva and He Blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Goddess Parvathi. Outside the Temple premises there are two huge white Nandhis. One facing the Sanctum Sanctorum while the other Nandhi faces away from it. These two Nandhis are eye captivating for any Devotees visiting this Temple. The Idols of Shiva and Parvathy are seen together in a shelter and painted in Gold colour. In this Temple the Idol of Lord Shiva is seen holding a Divine Trident in His hand. The Moolasthanam of this Temple is an added attraction since its in the form of a semi circle. In the Sanctum Sanctorum Lord Shiva is seen in the form of a Shiva Lingam and another smaller Nandhi Bhagawan Idol could be seen here facing the Moolasthanam. The walls of the Sanctum Sanctorum is quite different from other Shiva Temples since they are etched and decorated with Five Headed Serpants. Apart from this there are Sub Shrines for Lord Ganapathi and Valli Devasena Samedha Subramaniyar. This is a Hill Top Temple and gives a Bird's Eye view of entire Yelagiri Hill Station and hence apart from the usual Devotees visiting here there is a steady inflow of Tourists who keep coming in good numbers. The Temple is fenced neatly all around and on the rocks there are various Idols of Sage Agasthiyar and others.
