Arulmigu Amudhalingeshwarar Temple is located on the main road in Aruppukkottai Town. There is a seven tiered East facing Rajagopuram and to its left is a row of Gopurams with different Deities on top of it. Facing the main road is an East facing Anjaneyar on a Sthambam and close to this is another East facing Idol of Sri Aadhi Balachandra Vinayagar along with a few Naga Devathas. Beyond the Rajagopuram is a Dwajasthambam or Kodimaram, a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam and a Nandhi Vaahanam within a four pillared Mandapam facing the Moolasthanam.
