The Temple is located in Chinnalapatti, a busy Saree Weaving centre. The Presiding Deity is Viswaroopa Anjali Varadha Anjaneyar. The Main Deity is imposing and stands around 16 feet tall. The Deity is made of Saligrama stones brought from near River Gandaki in Nepal. He stands with Folded Hands with His Mace resting on His thigh. His Eyes are Sparkling Black and seem to follow His Devotees. He is installed in such a way that He could be seen from a far distance too. It is said that a Chunk or Part of Sanjeevani Hill had fallen here when Anjaneya Swamy was carrying it to Sri Lanka for the sake of Lakshmana and others. Devotees throng here on Saturdays and other holidays to have a glimpse of Him. Butter & Vada Malai are His Choicest Alankarams. The Deity is decorated with Fruits & Flowers on selected days. The Temple is unique since photography is permitted inside the Sanctum too. The Temple is quite small but is kept neat and tidy.
