Sri Bakthavatsala Perumal Temple is located in Thirunindravoor which is otherwise called as Thinnanur. The Presiding Deity is Sri Bakthavatsala Perumal who is found in a standing posture in the Sanctum. His Consort is known as Ennai Petra Thayar or Sudhavalli Thayar. The Temple has a five tiered Rajagopuram and was built during the Pallava Regime. However the Chola Kings and the Vijayanagara Emperors too supported the Temple by renovating it quite often. There is a huge compound wall built around the Temple. There are Sub Shrines for Ennai Petra Thaayar, Chakrathalwar, Andal etc. A Thulabaram (Weighing Scale) facility for the Devotees is made available for their Offerings.  Every day the Temple ritual here starts with a Gho Pooja  (Cow Pooja) and is followed by Aaru Kaala Poojai. The Thirupathi Jeer is the Honorary Trustee of this Temple. Many Volounteer Agency often visit this Temple and offer their services to keep the premises meticulously clean. There is a Temple Kitchen or Madapalli here and poor feeding is often done.  There is a small four pillared Mandapam located just outside the Temple beyond which there is a Anjaneya Swamy Shrine facing the Sanctum of this Temple.  A Temple Car is available next to the Anjaneya Swamy Shrine which is used on special occasions. The Sthala Viruksham of this Temple is Parijatha Tree and two Pushkaranis including the Varuna Pushkarani is available. Though the Temple  has no earmarked Car Parking, vehicles coming to the the Temple could be parked anywhere on the 4 adjoining streets.
