This Temple is located near the entry point and within the District Collector's Office in Thiruvallur Town. The Presiding Deity here is Sri Guru Mutheeswarar who is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. The Presiding Deity of Guru Mutheeswarar is in a Human form instead os the usual Lingam in other Temples. His Consort is known as Goddess Bommi Ammal. Thirukurippu Nayanar is also found standing just beside Guru Mutheeswarar in the Sanctum Sanctorum. The unique aspect of this Temple is the Statue of a Nandhi and a Huge 41 Feet Lingam which is otherwise known as Rajalingam. During the time of Shivarathiri a crane pours around 2000 litres of Milk on the Lingam. This attracts a huge number of Devotees from in and around Tiruvallur Town. The Sthala Viruksham here is a Vanni Tree. The Temple Idol is believed to have come from the Lake Bed around 100 years ago. A Mangalya Puthra Devi Amman statue in red colour is installed and kept at the rear of the Temple and it is believed that She Blesses those who wish to get married soon. There are Shrines for Naga Ganesh, Murugan, Nag Devthas, Navagraham, Brahma, Dhakshinamoorthy and Kaala Bhairavar. This is a Private Temple and is very well maintained and looked after by S.Rangan, the Temple Trustee. Those who are willing to contribute by Cash or Kind could call Thiru.
