This Temple is located in Varatanapalli which is a few Kilometers away from the National Highway. Varatanapalli was called as Gangaraya Chathurvedi Mangalam and it was built very close to the Varadagiri Hills. There is a Welcome Arch leading to the Temple. Sri Narasimhar is seen keeping Lakshmi on His lap with Adhiseshan standing guard ans hence He is called as Sri lakshmi Narasimha Perumal here.On either side there are Idols of Sri Lakshmi, Sri Saraswathi, Sri Garudalwar, Sri Anjaneyar and two Simha Vaahanam. The Temple in Varatanapalli is East facing. Opposite to the Temple there is a huge Viruksham beneath which Idols of various Gods and Naga Devathas are neatly arranged and kept. On entering the Temple the Sub Shrine for Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar is on the right. The Sub Shrine of Sri Baktha Veera Anjaneyar faces the Moolasthanam and to the back of this Sub Shrine there is a Sub Shrine of Sri Bhoo Varaha Perumal. There are two Bali Peedams or Neivedhya Peedams,  a pair of Divine Feet, two Dwajasthamabams or Kodi Maram and next to it is a Garudalwar's  Sub Shrine facing the Moolasthanam. Then there is an East facing Sri Sayana Narasimhar and a North facing Sri Runa Vimokshana Narasimhar. Next to it is the Sub Shrine for Sri Thumbikai Alwar or Sri Ganapathy. There are two pairs of Dwara Baalakas made up of coloured and black stones.

In the Sanctum Sanctorum Sri Narasimha Swamy is seen sitting East facing with Goddess Lakshmi on His left lap. The eyes of Goddess Lakshmi is totally towards the Devotees whereas in other Temples it is partially divided between the Devotees and Narasimhar. Just outside the gold plated threshold of the Moolasthanam are two Idols of Sri Ramanujar and Sri Manavala Maamunigal. Unlike other Temples the Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam, Dwajasthambam and the Garudalwar Sannadhi are not directly in straight lines before the Moolasthanam but instead they are located diagonally. The reason for this is that this Temple was made out of a Rock Cave and not a natually built Temple. It is believed that this Temple was built in a single day. The outer dome of the Moolasthanam is painted with an eye appealing golden colour. On either side of the Koshtam ther are Idols for SriViswaksenar and Sri Venugopala Krishnan.

In an adjoining Shrine Sathyavathi Ramadevi Samedha Sri Veera Venkata Kalyana Perumal and Sri Vara Sathyanaraya Perumal are East facing in a standing posture. There is another temporary tinned roofing Shrine in which Sri Pillayar, Sri Iyyappan, Sri Kuberan, Sri Perumal, Sri Anjaneyar, Sri Garudalwar, Sri Narasimhar, Sri Lakshmi, Sri Saraswathi and Sri Chakkarthalwar etc are kept. This place is being used for conducting Homam, Yaagam, Special Poojas etc. In the outer peripheral there are attractive black Idols of different Gods and Naga Devthas. Close to this is a tall and blue coloured Sri Dhanvanthri Perumal's Idol. There is a Sub Shrine for Sri Charakkathalwar and Sri Yoga Narasimhar seen together. Next to this is the Sub Shrine for Sri Kothai Nachiyar or Sri Andal. There is a general belief that those Devotees who cirucumambulate the Temple 108 times with Turmeric and perform Abishekam to the Moolavar with it would be Blessed and their desires would be fulfilled immediately. The Senior Bhattarchariar, Sri Narasimhan and his Team have to be complimented for their Devotion and Dedication shown towards the Poojas and other intricate caring of the Temple. This Temple is known to be a Brahmmahathi Dosha Nivarthi Sthalam.
