Sri Mari Amman Temple is located in Ambal Nagar very close to TVS Nagar in Hosur.  This Temple is also called as Samayapuram Mariamman Temple by the people of Hosur.   It was built 30 years ago.  This Amman Temple is a small one located in a residential locality.  The Temple has a compound wall with a grill gate and on entering  there is a stone Dwajasthambam close to which is a Balipeedam and a metallic Thirisoolam.  There is a Peepal Tree or a Arasa Maram beneath which Naga Devathai and a Pillayar are kept.  There are Sub Shrines for Meenakshi, Dhakshayani and Durgai and all three of them are covered with Panchloga Kavasam.  A Navagraha enclosure is found and close to it they have marked an exclusive area for lighting oil lamps.   There is a Thulasi Maadam and a  place to offer salt & pepper to the Amman by those who pray and come here. They have an electric gong  to mark the Temple Rituals and also a small space ear marked to perform small functions etc.
