Sri Pon Varatharaja Perumal Temple is located in Mettu Street in Rasipuram. Some call this Temple as Sri Devi Bhoo Devi Samedha Pon Varadaraja Perumal Temple.  The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Pon Varatharaja Perumal who is an incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu. He is  seen in the Sanctum Sanctorum flanked by His Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi. It is believed that any Devotees visiting this Temple would get rid of their debts and may secure good wealth hence the name Pon Varadharaja Perumal. There is an Idol of Lord Hanuman with five faces and hence He is called as Panchamuka Anjaneyar. Apart from this  there are Shrines for Lakshmi Hayagrivar, Narashimaswamy, Ayyapan, Dhanvanthri, Lakshmi Kuberar, Chakrathazhvar and Yoga Narashimaswamy. Recently this Temple has undergone a renovation due to which it gives an appealing look to the Devotees. Vaikunda Ekadesi is celebrated in a grand manner here and during this time the Sorga Vaasal is kept open for the sake of the Devotees. It is widely believed that anybody passing through the Sorga Vaasal of this Temple would attain Moksham. The Temple has its own Temple Chariot.
