GURUDWARA SHRI MANJI SAHIB (ALAMGIR SAHIB) is arranged in the Village Alamgir In Distt Ludhiana. SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI, after his four children and mother were martyred by the Mughals, was going from Machhiwara on a bed as \" Uchh Da Pir \" and came to here on 14 Poh 1761 Bikrami (1704 A.D.). On coming to here , one of the stallion dealers of the town named Bhai Nigahia Singh, skilled a steed to GURU SAHIB. Nabi Khan and Gani Khan were sent back with the bed. Master SAHIB asked an old woman who was picking dairy animals waste whether he could get some water from some place to scrub down to which the old woman answered that \" Pir Ji this is a position of remains, there is no water here. There is a well far away however there is a major python that lives there, nobody goes there. Master SAHIB Ji hit the python with a bolt and gave it \" Mukti \" ( exclusion from promote transmigration ) and the python fell into the well. At the point when the Sikhs went to bring water, the water had turned sour so near where GURU SAHIB was sitting, GURU SAHIB hit one more bolt and there was a water spring that turned out and every one of the sikhs had a shower. On observing this supernatural occurrence, the old woman fell into GURU SAHIB\"s feet and said \" Peer Ji you are an awesome Peer, I have a demand. I have uncleanliness and I have gone to different spots to complete the treatment yet it has not been cured, generously cure my ailment and help me to dispose of this illness. Master SAHIB said that whoever washes up under this water spring with conviction, GOD will cure all his misery. At that point GURU JI sat on the stallion given by Bhai Nigahia Singh and went towards Raikot. The old woman had a shower in that water spring and was cured. She backpedaled to the town and recounted about the entire story. Where Bhai Nabi Khan and Bhai Gani Khan kept GURU SAHIB\"s bed, today at that place exists an excellent Gurudwara known as Manji Sahib.
