Ranakpur Jain Temple is also called as Chaturmukha Dharana. This Temple is dedicated to first Tirthankara Rishabhanatha. This Temple follows Svetambara tradition of Jainism. This Temple is one of the Largest Temple in Jain Culture. There are Sub Temples like Chaumukha Temple, Surya Temple, Suparshvanatha Temple and Amba Temple inside the main Temple complex. A Copper Plate which is installed inside the main complex showcase the detailed history of this Temple. Dharna Shah a Jain Business man worked hard in constructing this massive Temple structure. The Ruler of Mewar Rana Kumbha donated various resources to Dharna Shah in order get this Temple constructed. Deepika an architect constructed the Main Temple complex with the help of a Jain Devotee Dharanka. Nearly 2875 Workers took 50 years to complete the huge Temple complex. Currently this Temple is being managed by Anandji Kalyanji Pedhi Trust for the past 100 years. Inside the Temple Complex there is a Dharmshala, Bhojnalya, Secondary School and Vijya Shanti Shiksha Bhawan.
