All Saints Cathedral is also known as Patthar Girja or Church of Stone. This Church is a Anglican Cathedral located in Civil Lines of Prayagraj. This Church is built by following the Gothic Style of Architecture. British Architect Sir William Emerson designed this Cathedral in the year 1871 and of consecrated it in the year 1887. Every Year on first of November this Church celebrates the All Saints Day. This Church is built at a mid point of a wide open space. This land was granted by Sir William Muir the Lieutenant Governor of Western Provinces. His wife laid the foundation stone for it on 10th April 1871. This Church is about 40 feet wide and 130 feet tall. This is one of the ancient Church in Uttar Pradesh and its a best example of Architecture of colonial India. The marble work and the stained glasses are still preserved properly even after 125 years. This Church complex is built using cream coloured stone and decorated red coloured sand stone. The roof of this Church is decorated using Red Tiles.
