Located in Khunti village, Amreshwar Dham is Hindu temple complex originally named as Angrabari Temple and later renamed by the revered Hindu Seer Shankaracharya Swami Swarupananda Saraswathi. It is a temple consisting of the deity of Lord Shiva, Ram and Sita, Hanuman and Ganesh. The temple is believed to have a Swayambhu Shiva Linga that is regularly worshipped. The temple is also called as Amareshwar because the deity according to legend was worshipped by a Mango tree. Angrabadi temple complex, located in the surroundings of peaceful beauty and in a calm and serene atmosphere, is a magnificent temple complex near Khunti. This place is found in the low hilly landscape at an average altitude of 1800 ft. (615 metres) these 183.89 sq. kms. The main Shivling in the temple, does not have a roof over it. This is for the reason that on every occasion when an attempt was made to build a temple around the Holy Shivling; Lord Shiva came in the dream of the person working on it and asked to go ahead in building a roof. Currently the main Shivling is under a Banyan Tree.
