This Temple is one of the Temples included in Nava Thirupathi of this region. It was built by the Pandya KIngs in a place called Irettai Thirupathi where it is more of Forestry and less of human dwelling. Sage Nammalwar has sung 11 Pasurams/Verses in praise of this abode of Lord Vishnu. There are not much public vehicles like Govt Busses etc to this place. A Cab or an Auto could be arranged from Tirunelveli or Srivaikuntam to reach here. The Urchavar here is called as Senthamaraikannan while the Thayar is called as Karunthadankanni. This Temple is very well maintained with the help of  TVS Group of Companies.
