This Temple is located in a place known as Panchvati Garden Bheda Ghat outside of Jabalpur. Its an abode of Durga Maa with 64 Yoginis. A Yogini is a female attendant of Goddess Durga Maa. The Temple is one of the Oldest Heritage sites in India built by the Kalachuri Kings in the 10th Century AD. The Temple is situated atop a small hillock and the Devotees may have to climb around 150 steps to reach it. The Temple is located close to River Narmada and the famous Marble Rocks in Bheda Ghat. There are around 95 Sub Shrines & Lord Shiva could be seen here riding atop a Nandhi Bull with His Consort Parvati. Its a pity that decades ago this Temple was partially destroyed by the Moghul invaders. The Temple is designed in a beautiful circular shape with a panoramic view. The Temple is very famous for its Thantric values. Due to the strategic location the Temple gains greater importance from the tourism point of view since most of the scenic locations comtemplated for film shooting falls around this Temple.
