The Presiding Deity of Narasinga Stan Temple is Lord Narasimha and He is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This Temple is located in a village called Khapriaon and Barkagaon which is located nearly 6 kms away from Hazaribagh. Apart from Lord Narasimha the Shiva Lingam of this Temple also has a equal importance from most of the Devotees visting this Temple. This Temple is considered as the most sacred spot in Hazaribagh District. This Temple attracts nearly 200 Devotees per day.  It also has Sub Shrines for Gods and Goddesses like Surya Bhagavan, Kali and all the ten Incarnation of Lord Vishnu and their Sub Shrines are built very close to each other. It is believed that Devotees who visit this Temple and worship Lord Narasimha are believed to get fame soon and released from all their ailments and all adverse effects created by the planets will be cured. A grand fair is conducted every year on Kartik Purnima.  Narasimha Jayanthi is celebrated in a grand manner.
