The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Saint Balumama. This Temple is located in a place called Adamapur inside Gadhinglaj City. Balmama was a Shepered and was considered as a Saint belonging to Kuruba Gowda or Dhangar community. This Temple is built on the Samadhi of Saint Balumama. Since Balumama has lakhs of followers from Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and hence this Temple is built on the Boder of all Karnataka. Currently This Temple is maintained and Adminsitered by Shri Balumama Trust. Nearly 40000 Sheep are looked after by this Temple Trust. This Temple is surrounded by Lush Green Agricultural Lands. Every Day Balumama Aarthi is performed every day.
