Arulmigu Sree Aruna Jadeshwara Swamy Temple is also called as Senjadaiappar Temple and it is located in Thiruppananthal around 100 metres away from the main road. There is a Welcome Arch situated near the Main Road that leads to this Temple. Its a huge West facing Temple with seven tiers. The Presiding Deity of this particualr Temple is Sri Arunajadeshwarar who is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. It is believed that the Siva Lingam of Arunajadeswarar was obtained from the earth from under a Palm Tree or a Panai Tree and hence the name Thiruppanandhal to this place. This Temple is one among the 276 Thevara Paadal Petra Sthalam and the 39th Siva Sthalam of its kind situated on the Northern Banks of River Cauvery in the Chola Naadu. On entering there is a multi pillared Mandabam and to its right is a Yaanai Kottai and the Temple Office. To the left is an enclosure for storing the Temple Vaahanams. Beyond this is another West facing 5 tiered Rajagopuram. A glittering Dwajasthambam and a gold plated Bali Peedam could be seen. The ceiling of this place too has been lit with colourful paintings. To the left is a Sacred Tank or a Pushkarani known as Naaga Kanni Theertham which is kept meticulously clean. There is a life size effigy of an elephant kept there. There are Sub Shrines here for Vinayagar, Kunguliya Kaliyanar and Chokkanathar who is seen in the form of a Shiva Lingam. The next multi pillared Mandabam too is colourfully painted and in every doorway there are a pair of gorgeous Dwara Baalakas. A Sub Shrine for Oorthuva Thandavar is seen here. Beyond this Mandabam Gajalakshmi, Pillayar, Subramaniyar, Somaskandar, Lord Natarajar & Sivakami are seen. In the Moolasthanam Sri Arunajadeswarar is seen West facing in the form of a Shiva Lingam. His other names here are Senjadaiyappar, Thaalavaneshwarar and Panankaateswarar. Bhogasuthi Amman too is found in one corner of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Around the Moolasthanam is an Idol of Sri Durgai Amman riding a Bull. Close to this place the Idols of Bhairavar, Chandiran, Prithvi Lingam, Appu Lingam, Theyu Lingam, Vayu Lingam, Agasa Lingam and Suriyan are seen. Sri Kaatchinathar, 63 Naayanmaars, Dhaksinamoorthy, Pillayar and Sapthamathas are all seen in tandem. The Ambal Sannadhi is in a multi pillared Mandapam with tiled flooring and the Ambal is East facing and in a standing posture. She is known here as Sri Brihan Nayagi or Sri Thaalavaneswari or Sri Periyanayagi. The threshold leading to the Ambal Sannadhi is dazzling with gold platings and there are two Dwara Baalakis outside this Shrine. Quite away from the Ambal Shrine is another Sub Shrine wherein Aadipura Amman and a Palliyarai could be seen. The other notable Sub Shrines are for Goddess Chandikeshwari and Ananda Vinayagar. The Temple has an exclusive Yaaga Saalai for conducting Divine rituals such as Homam, Yaagam etc. There is a place marked to light Camphors and Oil lamps. The Temple has a Ghoshala to care take care of Cows and Calves. There is a Temple Kitchen or a Madapalli. Aippasi Annabishegam, Arudhra Dharisanam, Masi Magam, Pradhosham, Navarathri are some of the festivals are celebrated in a grand manner. The Temple has a massive compound wall of around 25 feet height and is covered with a CCTV. This Temple is under the care of Thiruppanandhal Aadineenam.
