The Presiding Deity of This Temple is Lord Srinivasa Perumal and He is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He Blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Goddess Padmavathy Thayar. This Temple is one of the Oldest Temple in entire Pondicherry. This Temple was built in the 1800 AD. One of the Unique aspect of this Temple is that Lord Vishnu can be seen in all three posture. The Presiding Deity is seen in a Standing Posture, Lakshmi narashimar in Sitting Posture and Ranganathar in Pallikonda Posture. This Temple has a Fiver Tiered Rajagopuram and is Facing east. Since thsi Temple follows thenkali Style of Tradition this Temple is named as Thenkalai Srinivasa Perumal Temple. The Temple was renovated recently and Mahakumbabhishekam was performed on February 2nd 2016. Thsi Temple Has Sub Shrines for Gods and Goddesses Like Lord Rama, Krishna, Andal, Alwar, manavala Mamunigal and Varashakthi Anjaneyar. Festivals like Vaikunda Ekadesi, Brahmotsavam, Vasantha Utsavam, Thayar Utsavam, Hanuman Jaynathi and Narashima Jayanthi are celebrated in agrand Manner.
