The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Tapkeshwar and He is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. This is a cave Temple and the unique aspect of this Temple is that natural water keeps on dripping over the head of Shiva Ling. This water droplets form a huge river which flows through the caves. It is believed that Guru Dronacharya lived here and hence this cave is named as Drona cave. This Temple is lovated in between a dense forests and is considered as a major pilgrimage site in Dehradun. A Huge Hanuman Statue can be seen here in this Temple and he is in a standing Posture. Shivarathri is celebrated in agrand manner.
