The Presiding Deity of this Temple Perarulalan Perumal and He is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He Blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Goddess Alli Mamalar Nachiar. This Temple is considered as one of the 31st 108 Divya Desam Dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that Devotees worship the Presiding Deity to get rid of Poverty and to seek good Jobs.
