Jama Masjid, Bhilai is one of the biggest Mosques in Chhattisgarh. This Mosque was constructed in the year 1967. Several skilled engineers took 3 years to construct this Mosque. This is one of the biggest Mosque in India which can accomodate 3000 Worshippers. Bhilai Steel Plant allocated a whopping 12000 square feet land for the construction of this Mosque. The dome of this Mosque is made out of White Marble. This unique Mosque complex was designed by Khairuddin Ahmad Siddiqui. This Mosque is 59 feet high and 120 feet Long. This Mosque is well maintained and kept meticulously cleen by Bhilai Nagar Masjid Trust. Representatives of Sikh, Christian & Arya Samaj visit this Mosque each year on EID passing to show their brotherhood between them.
