The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Sri Anjaneya Swamy and the Temple is Paritala Hanuman Temple.  Paritala is a small village which is located 34 Kms away from Vijayawada City.  The Idol was installed in the year 2003 and it stands 135 feet tall and can be proud to be the second tallest Hanuman Temple in the world.  This Idol is taller than that of the statue of Jesus in Rio de Janeiro.  The Temple is built is built on a hillock known as Venkateswarakonda with River Krishna flowing nearby. The Presiding Deity of Paritala Hanuman could be seen by the Devotees even before they reach Paritala since the Deity is so tall.  There are Sub Shrines for Lord Rama and He blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Seetha and His Brother Lakshmana.  Bearing in mind the height of the Idol many tourists too visit this Temple apart from the normal Devotees.  Festivals like Sri Rama Navami and Hanumath Jayanthi are celebrated in a grand manner during which time the entire Temple complex is illuminated with coloured lights and lit brightly.  Any Devotee visiting this Temple would love it for its architectural beauty and the natural sorrounding around the Temple.
