Sri Ayyappa Swamy Temple is located in a busy Savedi area of Ahmednagar. This place is in the heart of Ahmednagar and is a commercialized area. This Iyyappa Swamy Temple has been recently built with the Kerala Style of Architecture. The Temple and its ambience are simply dazzling and awe inspiring. There are several Sub Shrines in this Temple. The Presiding Deity of Sri Ayyappa Swami occupies the Sanctum Sanctorum and He is seen in a seated posture. There is a huge seven tiered Bronze Oil Lamp lit in this Temple. The entire Temple flooring has beautiful black granites. The Pillars of the Temple are in dazzling colour with designs embossed on them. The Sanctum Sanctorum and the Sub Shrine of Ganapathy have gold plated thresholds.  All Poojas and Rituals of this Temple are mostly performed in the Kerala Style. Since Ahmednagar or Ahilya Nagar has a lot of Madrasi or South Indian population there is a steady inflow of Devotees coming to this Temple. April, May, November, December and January months attracts a lot of Sri Ayyappa Swamy Devotees and many among them are Army Personnel too.
