The Presiding Deity of this Temple is Lord Ninrarulina Perumanadigal and He is considered as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This Temple was built between Pallava and Chola Period. This Temple is built using Green stone instead of using locally available granite stone. The Sanctum Sanctorum consist of Mukha Mandapam, Antrala. Here the Presiding Deity blesses His Devotees along with his consorts Sri Devi and Boodevi. There are images of Goddesses Gajalakshmi, Durga. There are many carvings related to Ramayana and Krishna Leela. This Temple is currently being adminisered and maintained by archaeological survey of india.
