Koliyaak is around 23 Kms East of Bhavnagar which is a District Head Quarters. Sri Nishkalank Mahadev Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Sri Mahadev or God Shiva. This Temple is an all important Temple of Gujarat since the Temple and the Arabian Sea here are inseparable. History reminds us that there are five Swayambhu Shiva Lingams here and all these five Shiva Lingams had been installed by the Pancha Pandavas on the instruction of their Mentor Sri Krishna during the times of Mahabharatha. This, Sri Krishna had done deliberately so that the war time since of the Pancha Pandavas are washed away by the Sea Waters. This is followed by the Devotees even today since Devotees may have to wade through knee deep or waist deep water to reach the Temple. It is said that the Sins of such Devotees would also be washed away by the waters.

This Temple attracts lots of Tourists and Devotees alike during low tide. Rituals and Normal Pooja Offering to Sri Nishkalank Mahadev are considered very important here. Most nights after 8 PM the Temple is engulfed by Sea Waters and unsafe for the visitors after that. This Temple attracts a steady inflow of Tourists and Shiv Devotees alike. Modern day Engineers who view this Temple are still awestruck by its Engineering Marvel. This Temple is managed very well and run by a local Hindu Trust.
