Shri Yoga Narasimhaswamy Temple is located on the Mantralayam to Adoni Road.  The Main Temple is situated around 3 Kms away from the Main Road and this Temple road is full of mud, filth and stones.  It is believed that this Temple is more than 2000 years old and it is said that Bhargava Rishi had a big hand in building this Temple close to a hillock.  The Temple has a small gold coloured Gopuram and the sides of the Temple and compound wall have been white washed.  On entering the Temple there is a Thulasi Maadam on which  Naga Devatha has been etched.  Close to it is a small black coloured Anjaneya Swamy statue.  The area leading to the Temple is neatly covered with a temporary roofing and iron poles.  The entry point to the Mandapam has been painted in red colour with a Gaja Lakshmi Idol painted in gold colour at the centre of it. The Mandapam has many stone pillars and a black Idol of Goddess Lakshmi, Saraswathi and Durgai together is placed there and close to it is a red coloured Ganesha Idol and another huge stone engravings with 108 serpants neatly etched could be seen.  In the next Sub Shrine is a Shiva Lingam known as Pranadevan and facing it is a small Nandhi Bhagwan.  Likewise there is a Anjaneya Idol known as Vayudevan and another Idol of Srinivasa Perumal made out of black stone.  On the thershold of the Sanctum Sanctorum are two Naga Devathas and two Elephant Idols kept on either side of the door.  Sri Yoga Narasimha Swamy is believed to be Swayambhu with a  Black Vigraham or Idol.  Within the Sanctum Sanctorum are the Idols of various Gods including Yoga Narasimhar which are all called as Urchavamoorths.  A small wooden Palanquine is available in the Temple premises and the Urchavar is taken around in this Palanquine on festive occasions.  Close to the Thulasi Maadam which is installed outside there is a Arasa Maram or a Peepal Tree and further away from it is a Navagraha enclosure with a tinned roofing.  There is a general belief that those visiting Mantralayam must come and pray here to seek the Blessings of Yoga Narasimha Swamy.  Narasimha Jayanthi and certain other Vaishava festivals are celebrated in a grand manner.  The road leading to the Temple is muddy and rickty for around 3 Kms and vehicles could not be taken right upto the Temple.  Instead they can be parked 50 meters away from the Temple and Devotees ought to look out for monkey menace.
