The Temple is located close to river Paalar and it consists of a 5 tiered Rajagopuram and close to it they have erected a concrete shelter with shutters for the Temple Car or Chariot. This Temple is so special in a few ways. It is one of the oldest Temples believed to have been built more than 4000 years. There are only two Temples in the whole of India for Sri Bindhu Madhava Perumal. One is in Kasi / Varanasi while this Temple is the second of its kind in India. This Bindhu Madhava Perumal Temple is also known as Varadaraja Perumal Temple. The Consort of Bindu Madhava Perumal is known as Kumadhavalli Perundevi Thaayar. On entering the Temple there are two Dwajasthambams while one is made of stone the other one is made of metal. Between these two Dwajasthambams is a Bali Peedam. Facing the Sanctum Sanctorum is a Sannadhi for Garudalwar. The Maha Mandapam is at an elevated place and Devotees may have to climb a few steps and this Maha Mandapam is made up of 36 stone pillars. The entire Temple premises is being spurced up and granite stones are being laid on the floor. The Maha Samprokshanam is likely to take place in a few months from February - 2024. At the threshold of the Moolasthanam are two Dwara Baalagars Jayan and Vijayan. On entering the Sanctum Sanctorum the Presiding Deity made out of Black Vigraham stands majestically along with His two Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi. The Moolavar while in a standing posture is supposed to have kept His right foot ahead of His left foot which denotes that He is ready to offer His help for any willing Devotee. The Urchavamoorthis are kept neatly within the Sanctum Sanctorum just beneath the Moolavar. Close to it is another glass panel inside which several Urchavamoorthi Idols of various Gods are displayed. Next to it the Alwars Vigrahams are neatly kept in tandem. Facing the Sanctum Sanctorum is another black Idol of Sage Roma Rishi and it is believed that God Bindu Madhavar had come here to give a dharshan to His ardent Devotee Roma Rishi. On the left side of the outer peripheral there is a Sub Shrine for Chakrathalwar and Yoga Narasimhar. Another Sub Shrine for Lakshmi Narasimhar is the offing. Very near to it is a Sub Shrine with 6 stone pillars for Goddess Kumadavalli Thaayar. Likewise the Andal too is kept in another 6 pillared Sub Shrine. There are Vigrahams or Idols for Lakshmi Narasimhar and Vishnu Durgai around the Koshtam. There is a five headed Nagaraja Idol along with a few other Naga Devathas and it is believed that any Childless Couple coming and Praying before Lord Nagaraaja for 5 continuous Fridays are Blessed with a kid. There is another Sub Shrine for Anjaneya Swamy. There is a Garuda Mandapam where the Gods are dressed up and decorated on festival days. Lord Ayyappan is kept in a Sub Shrine with a typical Kerala styled roofing and 18 steps. Next to it is a open Mandapam with a few pillars where the Temple Vaahanams are kept. The Sthala Viruksham of this Temple is Magizha Maram. Purattasi 5 Saturdays, Aadi Pooram, Varalakshmi Viratham, Vaikunda Ekadesi are celebrated in a grand manner though there is no Sorga Vaasal for this Temple.
