This Temple is also known as Shree Brahma Baidarkala Garadi Kshetra and its llocated on the Bangalore - Mangalore National Highway in Kankanadi just 4 Kms away from Mangalore City. The Temple building is grey in colour with Mangalore type roofing and around 10 vehicles could be parked in the Temple's Parking Slot. This Temple has been built in such a way that Devotees have to go down by 10 to 20 steps to reach the premises. On entering the Temple there is a tiled corridor on the left side in which around 15 chairs have been fixed for the Visitors to be seated. On the right side is the Temple Office. Its an all important Temple to the Tuluva community. The Temple is totally dedicated to the twin cultural heros or Tulu warriors of Tulu Nadu viz. Koti and Chennaiya. The Temple has a history of nearly 150 years. It is believed that Koti and Chennaiah, the Tulu warriors got the Idol of Lord Naga Brahmma and they used to worship this Idol during their lifetime with all sincerity. The Sanctum Sanctorum itself is built on an elevated structure and facing it is a pair of Lions made out of metal. In the Sanctum Sanctorum Lord Naga Brahma is found in the centre and standing on either side of the Main Deity are Koti and Chennaiya. The Temple is very unique in some ways. An Idol of Mahatma Gandhi was consecrated here in the year 1948 and since then Devotees coming to this Temple worship Mahatma Gandhi on every 2nd Oct on the day of his Birthday. Next to it is a white marble Idol of Brahmmasri Narayana Guru. Milk Abishekam is done for these two Idols daily There are Sub Shrines for Mayantha Devi & Deyi Baideti, Subramanya Swamy, Vinayagar, Bala Parameshwari Devi, Kodamani Thaayi and Aanandha Bhairavar. There is a huge Tree beneath which two Simha Vaahanam are kept and next to it is the Naga Devatha. There is a Navagraha enclosure too. The Temple has a Yaaga Salai where Homam and similar rituals could be performed. A Palanquin is also available to be used on festive occasions. During the Sri Rama Navami days ‘Dompada Bali’ is celebrated with much fanfare and along with this, the Temple administration organises ‘Deepothsava’ for Lord Nagabrahma and Brahma Baidarkala every year. That time Devotees are allowed to offer special ‘Deepothsava’ to the Lord. There is another car park on the left of the Temple where vehicles could be parked with ease. A Mandapam is also available and this could be used for religious functions, weddings etc. This is not a Government Temple but instead a Private one.
