This Temple is moreso called as Kalyana Kamakshi Temple by the Devotees. It is situated in a narrow street in  a residential locality  known as Kottai in Dharmapuri Town. It is said that this Temple had been built during the 8th century. It is a East facing Temple but it has another entrance on the South too. There is no Rajagopuram for this Temple. A stone Dwajasthambam could be seen as Devotees enter through the East entrance. A Nandhi Vahanam facing West towards the Moolasthanam is seen in a four pillared Mandapam. Beyond this is the Artha Mandapam which is a Architectural wonder. This Mandapam has few pillars and one of these pillars is stuck to the ceiling in a normal manner but the bottom of this pillar is not grounded to the floor but stands a few centimeters above the flooring similar to that of the Lepakshi Temple in Andhra Pradesh, Belur in Karnataka and Halebidu in Karnataka. In those three Temples the Hanging Pillars are placed quite away from the Moolasthanam whereas the Hanging Pillar of this Temple could be seen in the Artha Mandapam itself. Many Devotees from far and near who visit this Temple come here and insert either a paper or a cloth at the bottom of this pillar to see this miracle happen. Even the ceiling of this Artha Mandapam has been wonderfully crafted. The overhead ceiling here is designed and crafted with Ashtadhig Baalagargal and they look so impressive to the Devotees seeing it. The Dancing Natarajar Idol on the ceiling looks unique since He uses the other foot which looks so odd and unique. There are two Dwara Baalakas on either side of the threshold leading to the Moolasthanam. In the Sanctum Sanctorum the Presiding Deity Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy is majestically seen East facing to Bless His Devotees. He is in the form of a Shiva Lingam and is considered as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Parallelly there is another Shrine for His Consort Sri Kalyana Kamakshi. to reach Her Shrine Devotees may have to climb around 15 steps. These steps are covered with a temporary roofing so that the Devotees are saved from Rain and Sunshine. The Gopuram of the Shrine of Sri Kalyana Kamakshi Amman has various coloured Idols of different Gods on top of it. There are two Dwara Baalakis Idols as Devotees enter Her Shrine. Sri Kalyana Kamakshi is considered as an Omnipotent Goddess here and there is a steady inflow of Devotees to seek Her Blessings. She too is seen facing Eastwards. Sri Soolini Raja Durgambikai is also seen in the Sanctum Sanctorum along with Sri Kalyana Kamakshi Amman. There is a Sub Shrine for Siddeshwarar who is East facing and Kala Bhairavar who is South facing. In the outer peripheral there is a Sub Shrine for Valampuri Selva Ganapathy and another Sub Shrine for Ishta Siddhi Shanmuganathar and both these Sub Shrines are East facing. Those Devotees who enter the Temple through the South entrance could see the colured Idol of Shiva and Parvathy placd on the top of a Gopuram there. This Temple has several Naga Devathas Idols and there is a separate Navagraha Sannadhi too.  Aippasi Annabishegam, Arudhra Dharisanam, Masi Magam, Pradhosham, Navarathri are some of the festivals are celebrated in a grand manner.
