Sri Paravasudeva Perumal Temple or Sri Paravasudeva Swamy Temple is located in a place called Kottai in Dharmapuri. Hence this Temple is also known as Kottai Perumal Temple in Dharmapuri. The full nme of the Temple is Sri Varamahalakshmi Samedha Sri Paravasudeva Perumal Temple. This Temple is located in a resdiential locality close to Kalyana Kamakshi Amman Temple. It has a East facing five tiered Rajagopuram and there is a four pillared Mandapam along with a stone Dwajasthambam facing the Rajagopuram. An Idol of Lord Anjaneya Swamy is etched on the lower half of the stone Dwajasthambam. Before entering the Rajagopuram there is a Sri Vaari Mandapam on the right and functions could be performed here comfortably. Devotees coming to this Temple may have to climb down 5 to 6 steps after the Rajagopuram to reach the Temple premises. Facing the Sanctum Sanctorum is a Neivedhya Peedam or a Balipeedam and a tall Dwajasthambam or Flag Staff. Beyond it there is a small four pillared Mandapam in which Garudalwar is seen West facing the Moolasthanam. Beyond it is a pillared Mandapam and there are two black Idols of Dwara Balakaas who are seen facing East. To the right there are four Idols in seated posture kept on a podium and they are as follows: Vishwaksenar, Udayavar, Nammalwar and Madurakavi Alwar. All the pillars in this Mandapam have Images of Ashtalakshmi drawn on them. The threshold of the Sanctum Sanctorum has been silver plated with Dasavathara Images etched all over. In the Moolasthanam the Presiding Deity Sri Paravasudeva Perumal is seen in a sitting posture facing East and Goddess Varamahalakshmi is seen seated on His left thigh. He is seen having four hands with a Sangu and Chakkaram in the upper hands. His two lower hands seem to Bless the Devotees. The Urchavamoorthy Vigraham along with Sudharshana Perumal are seen in the Moolasthanam. Close to this the other Urchavamoorthy Idols are safely placed in one corner. There is a Madapalli or Temple Kitchen and next to it is the mirrored Palliyarai. Next to it is a pillared Mandapam with granite flooring and the Thulabaaram or Weighing Scale is kept there along with a North facing Dhanvanthri Idol. The Chakarathalwar and Yoga Narasimhar are seen back to back in a Sub Shrine and close to this is the Idol of Goshala Krishnan. The Ranga Mandapam and Sri Vari Mandapam which are built close to each other lends beauty to the Temple. There is a Venkatachalapathy Idol and a Lakshmi Kuberar and on top of them are the Idols of Ashtalakshmi. A huge Image of Sangu and Chakaram are drawn in the Sri Vaari Mandapam and the Dasavathara Idols are interspaced between them. To the rear of the Temple is a huge Arasa Maram and beneath it is the Idol of Anjaneya Swamy and other Naga Devathas. Next to it is a four pillared Mandapam in which Ganapathy and other Naga Devathas Idols are evenly placed. There is a huge coloured Nagathamman Idol placed on top of the abovesaid Mandapam. A Neem Tree nearby is smeared with Turmeric and Kumkum and it has been worn with a Saree. Almost all the Sub Shrines have a Vadagalai Thirumann and Srichurnam drawn on its outer walls. The outer peripheral has an East facing Aandal Sub Shrine. The final Sub Shrine is that of the Baktha Anjaneyar who is seen facing West and in a standing posture. There is a pair of Divine Feet facing the Baktha Anjaneya Swamy. The Temple has a North facing Sorga Vaasal. The entire Temple premises has been gorgeously painted and kept meticulously clean. Sri Rama Navami, Hanumath Jayanthi, Narasimha Jayanthi, Vaikunda Ekadesi etc draw huge crowd from far and near.
