The Maddi family handed Gave the Idol of the Presiding Deity to Reddika Community and the members of this community installed the Idol of Goddess inside the Sanctum Sanctorum. This Temple is second richest Sakthi Temple in Andhra Pradesh next to Kanaka Mahalakshmi Temple. Festivals like Annual Jatara, Makarasankaranthi are celebrated in a grand Manner here in this Temple.
