The Presiding Deity is Lord Venkateshwara Swamy. The Temple is located close to the banks of River Thungabadra. The Temple could be reached by foot or by share autos from the Mantralayam Main Temple. It is not advisable to reach there by car since the streets are too narrow. The area where the Temple is located is called as Old Town. The Main Deity is believed to be consecrated by Sri Raghavendra Swamy himself since he was a regular worshipper here. The house where Raghavendra Swamy lived at that time still exists in this locality. The Presiding Deity is seen North facing. Two Dwarapalakaas are found at the entrance. The Temple Gopuram is beautifully decorated and the Prahaarams are kept neat and tidy. There is a Garden or Nandhavanam too around the Temple which provides the entire Thulasi to this Temple for Prayers. A Thulasi Maadam and Nag Devthas too find a place within the Temple whereas an Anjaneyaswamy Image is found on the outer wall. A replica of Dasaavatharam is seen on either side of the Temple's outer wall. Its an excellent place for the devotees to visit and even meditate. None coming to Mantralayam would ever miss this Temple.
