This Temple is also called as Shri Neelakantheswara Swamy Temple and it is located in a place called Sarpavaram in Kakinada. The lanes leading to the Temple is so congested and very narrow since the Temple has been built in a residential locality. On the main road of the street they have erected a name board of the Temple. A small parking space is available close to the Temple. On the left side is a small Mandabam where mini Divine functions and Weddings could be held. On the right is a Sub Shrine for Goddess Parvathy with Murugan and Ganapathi posted as Dwarabalakas. The entire place is well tiled and there is a Trident and a Simha Vaahanam before Her Shrine. Just before the Sanctum Sanctorum is a Maha Mandabam which has tiled flooring and there is a huge Dwajasthambam found piercing the roof and venturing out. A huge black Nandhi Idol along with a Bali Peedam is seen here. A smaller Nandhi Idol made out of black stone is kept outside. The Moolasthanam is North facing and has a pair of Dwara Baalagas and close to them are a Ganapathi and a Lakshminarayana Idol. In the Sanctum Sanctorum Lord Shiva is found facing North as Sri Neelakandeshwara Swami in the form of a Shiva Lingam. The Mahamandabam and all other Sub Shrines are beautifully lit with coloured lightings making the place so glittering. There is another Hall with a glass pane inside which Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathy are seated in a wooden swing. There is a Sub Shrine for Goddess Sree Ganga. There is a huge Tree and beneath the Tree is a Nandhi Vaahanam along with a few Idols of Naga Devathas. There is a white Gomatha Idol with its Calf here made out of white stone. There are Sub Shrines for Gajalakshmi, Dhakshnamurthy, Chandikeswarar and 11 Sub Shrines for 11 different Sages. Apart from all these there is an Auditorium in which various functions could be held on the stage and several hundreds made to sit. There is a Yaga Saalai with a temporary roofing where Yaagam and Homam etc could be performed. The Temple has a small compound wall and a Sacred Tank but the Temple's Sacred Tank is so filthy and has to be cleaned. Papers and Plastics are seen floating in the Sacred Tank making it look awful. This Temple does not come under the AP Govt. but run by few individuals.
