Tiruvidanthai is located on the Southern part of Chennai Metro very near to Kovalam. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is  Lord Lakshmi Varaha Perumal  and He is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He Blesses His Devotees along with His Consort Goddess Komalavalli Thaayar. The Presiding Deity can be seen standing posture inside the Sanctum Sanctorum. The Tower of the Sanctum Sanctorum is called as Kalyana Vimanam. It is believed that Sage Markandeya had visited this Temple and worshipped the Presiding Deity quite often. People who have impediments in getting married visit this Temple in order to get married soon. The  Uthsavar here is Lord Nithya Kalyana Perumal. This is one of the 108 Divya Desam that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and this Temple is the only Divya Desam where Lord Vishnu's Wedding festival is celebrated throughout the year. This Temple has two Sacred Tanks namely Varaha Theertham and Kalyana Theertham and the Sacred Tree or  Sthala Viruksham is Punnai Maram or Punnai Tree. This Temple follows the Thengalai tradition. Vaikunda Ekadesi is celebrated in a grand manner.
