Sri Veera Narayana Perumal Temple is located in Kodumudi. It is actually a twin Temple found along with Sri Magudeswarar Temple. Both the Temples have separate entrances. The Shrine of Sri Veera Narayana Swamy has a tin sheet roofing before it. There is a tall Dwajasthamabam or Kodimaram found along with a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam. Devotees may have to climb 4 to 5 steps to reach the Temple premises. There Lord Garudalwar is seen West facing towards the Sanctum Sanctorum. Sri Paramapathanathar, Garudalwar, Ramanujar, Venkatachalapathi and Naagar Idols are seen facing Sri Veera Narayana Swamy. Close to this are the dazzling black Idols of Alwars Poigai Alwar, Bhoothath Alwar, Pei Alwar, Thirumazhisai Alwar, Nammazhwar, Madhurakavi Alwar, Kulasekhara Alwar, Periyazhwar, Andal, Thondaradippodi Alwar, Thirumangai Alwar, and Thiruppaan Alwar. Devotees visiting the Moolasthanam could see Vyakarapadha Ganapathy on their way. Two huge black Idols of the Dwara Balakaas viz. Jayan and Vijayan are found standing guard near the threshold of the Moolasthanam. There are two dazzling gold plated thresholds just before the Moolasthanam. In the Sanctum Santorum Sri Veera Narayana Perumal is seen East facing and in a reclining posture. Anjaneyar, Vibeeshanar, Brahmma, Sri Vasudevar, Narathar and Garudalwar are seen along with Sri Veera Narayana Perumal. The Urchavamoorthy Idol of Sri Veera Narayana Perumal is seen flanked by His Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi. There are two more Idols of His Consorts facing each other next to the Sudharshana Chakkaram. There is a separate Sub Shrine for Mahalakshmi Thaayar who is the Consort of Sri Veera Narayana Perumal. She is seen East facing in a sitting posture in Her Shrine. Outside the Shrine of Mahalaskhmi Thaayar there are several Images of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar, Sri Lakshmi Vaarahar and Ashta Lakshmis. There Images are framed amazingly in a uniformed manner and neatly displayed. There is another East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Anjaneya Swamy who is seen in a standing posture. Instead of the usual Dwara Baalakas two Idols of Anjaneya Swamy Himself are kept as Dwara Baalakas. The Sthala Viruksham is a Vanni Maram and the Pushkaranis  are Kaveri Theertham, Brahmma Theertham, Bharatwaja Theertham and Deva Theertham. It is unique to find Brahmma beneath a Vanni Maram on an elevated platform. Around Him there are several Idols of Naga Devathas. The presence of Brahmma here makes this Temple as a Thirimoorthy Sthalam. The Temple has a Madapalli and a Ghoshala. It also has a Paramapathavaasal or Sorga Vaasal. This Temple is famous for conducting numerous Parihaara Nivarthi Pooja and Devotees opting to do this can find their apt Bhattachariars within the same Temple. The Temple has a paid car parking. Aadi Perukku, Aani Jeshtabhishekam, Margazhi Utsavam and Chittrai Brahmmotsavam are celebrated in a grand manner here.
