This Temple is also known as Vennaimalai Sri Murugan Temple and it is located close to the main road. The Temple is located on a small hillock in Vennaimalai. There is a stone podium with around 10 steps and on top of it is a stone Dwajasthambam facing the Moolasthanam. To begin with, there is an East facing Paadha Vinayagar Sub Shrine and another East facing Sub Shrine in which a Malai Kavalar Idol is found. Devotees may have to climb around 50 steps to reach the Temple top. Midway there is a North facing Idumban's Sub Shrine. The anteior part of the Temple is partially covered with a roofing in order to save the Devotees from rain and sun shine. Beyond it the Temple's 3 tiered Rajagopuram looks colourful and gorgeous. On entering the premises there are Idols for Suryan and Chandran which are West facing. Close to this is a Navagraha Sannadhi. There is a Dwajasthambam, a Neivedhya Peedam, a Veerabahu Idol and a Mayil Vaahanam facing the Moolasthanam. On the ceiling they have designed a unique combination of 12 Raasis which looks eye appealing. In the Sanctum Sanctorum the resplendent looking Presiding Deity of Sri Bala Subramanya Swami is seen East facing and in a standing posture with a Spear. He looks unique since He is all alone and without His Consorts. The Urchavmoorthi Idols are kept in a South facing enclosure. In the inner peripheral there is a East facing Kasi Viswanathar along with a South facing Visalakshi Sub Shrine. Apart from this there is a Kanni Vinayagar, a Shiva Lingam, Nandhi Vaahanam, NagaDevathas, Chandikeshwarar and Pancha Lingams kept on top of a podium. Karuvurar Siddhar occupies an East facing Sub Shrine. The Temple has an Idol for the Sthapathy who had sculpted this Temple. Oil Lamps cannot be lit at all places and for this the Temple has facilities and have placed oil lamp stand. This Temple has cemented massive car parking which hold around 100 cars. Close to this car parking is a small podium on which a few Naga Devatha Idols are kept. Likewise has an exclusive Pushkarani or Sacred Tank known as Thenu Theertham. Many people rever this Temple as their Kula Deivam and on any given day there is a steady inflow of Devotees.Thai Poosam, Aadi Kiruthikai, Panguni Uthiram, Thiru Karthigai, Skanda Shasti, Masi Magam, Makara Shankaranthi and Tamil New Year are some of the festivals celebrated in a grand manner.
