Konganagiri Murugan Temple Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. This Temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan known here as Thapas Kumara Swamy. This Temple is built on a Small Hillock. It is believed that this temple is 1200 years old. Here Lord Murugan alongwith His Consorts Valli and Devani Blesses His Devotees. This Temple also has Shrines for Lord Venkatesa Perumal, Selva Ganapathy and Navagrahas. Vakkanai Tree is considered as a Sthala Viruksham. This Temple is known as Tevara Vaipu Sthalam as had been mentioned by Appar in Thevaram. Thirupugazh was first sung by Saint Arunagirinathar in this famous Temple. Kongana Siddhar had a big hand in building the Temple.
