The Gopuram of this Temple has a lovely colured Idol of Sri Senguzhuneer Vinayagar in a seated posture. The Presiding Deity of this Temple is known as Sri Sengaluneer Vinayagar who is seen in the Sanctum Sanctorum in a seated posture Blessings His Devotees. A small Neivedhya Peedam and a Moonjur Vaahanam is kept facing the Moolasthanam. This Temple also has a Navagraha enclosure. This is a much sought after Temple in Perungudi and Thoraipakkam area of OMR. Though the Temple is small Sri Sengazhuneer is considered to be Omnipotent. There is a general belief that the Devotees who come and Pray here get rid of all their problems. Vinayagar Chathurthi is celebrated in a grand manner.
