This Temple is located in Saraswathi Nagar in Alwarthirunagar which lies in between Valasaravakkam and Virugambakkam in Chennai.  The Presiding Deity is Arulmigu Valampuri Sakthi Vinayakar.  The Sthala Viruksham of this Temple is a Vanni Tree located just outside the temple.   There is also a combination of Arasa Maram and Neem Tree outside the Temple and is fenced.  Beneath this Tree Vaideeswaran and Nag Devthas are kept and prayed.  There is a small Shrines for Sai Baba too within the Temple.  Last Kumbabishekam was performed on 10th July 2011.  There are  Idols of Vijaya Durgaiamman, Murugan, Dakshinamurthy and Maha Vishnu too.  A Navagraha Sannadhi is also located within the Temple.  An Oonjal function is performed on every New Moon Day (Ammavasai).  Kirthigai, Pournami Pooja, Vinayaka Chathurthi, Sankadahara Chathurthi and Prodosham are celebrated with great interest.
