Pachai Amman Temple is located on the Suburbs of Chennai. This Temple was built around 120 years ago and is in the midst lush green forests and many beautiful lakes. The Presiding Deity of this Temple Goddess Pachai Amman and She is none other than Goddess Parvathy. This Temple has 14 Idols of different Gods and Goddesses and many Animals who were believed to have helped Pachai Amman. This Temple also has effigies of an elephant, five horses and a dog and it is believed that these animals are the Guardians of Goddess Pachai Amman.  Special Poojas are performed during the month of all days of  Tamil month of Aadi and  Ammavasai since these days are considered as auspicious days for Goddess Pachai Amman. Women Devotees offer Bangles, Sarees and Blouses to Goddess in order to get their wishes fulfilled.
