This Temple is dedicated to Sri Vinayagar and He is known here as Sri Prasanna Vinayakar. This is a hundred year old Temple which is very well known in this locality. This land was initially purchased in the year 1919 and a Bhoomi Pooja was done immediately. The first Kumbaabishekam was performed in the year 1921. Subsequently two more Kumbaabishekams were performed on 28th Febuary 1945 and 29th June 2012 respectively. This Temple has a three tiered East facing Rajagopuram. The Rajagopuram has a coloured Idol of Sri Vinayakar at its centre with two Dwara Baalaka Idols and the two supporting pillars of the Rajagopuram have two coloured Images of two Dwara Baalakas. The ceiling of the Temple has contrast designs of various colours. An Ennthisai Shiva Lingam is also seen painted on the ceiling. The uniqueness of this Ennthisai Shiva Lingam is that it looks similar when viewed from any direction.

The Moolasthana Mandapam is made up of 6 pillars. In the East facing Moolasthanam the Presiding Deity of Sri Prasanna Vinayagar is seen East facing and in a sitting posture. There is a small Neivedhya Peedam and another small Moonjur Vaahanam looking towards the Presiding Deity. Around the Moolavar Koshtam the Idols of Sri Narthana Vinayagar, Sri Dhakshinamoorthy, Sri Maha Vishnu and Sri Brahmma are beautifully displayed on a Lotus podium. Sri Siva Durgai Amman is not seen in the Koshtam but instead She has a North facing Sub Shrine in which She is seen in a seated posture. There is no Chandikeshwarar Idol in this Temple. To the left of the Moolasthanam is an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Naaga Lingam which includes Sri Raahu and Kethu also. To the right of the Moolasthanam is the East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Subramaniya Swamy in which He is seen in a standing posture flanked by His Consorts Sri Valli and Sri Devasena. Facing His Sub Shrine is a small Neivedhya Peedam and a Mayil or Peacock Vaahanam.

There are beautiful drawings on the inner walls around the Temple pertaining to Sri Thillai Natarajar, Sri Annamalaiyar, Sri Arthanareeswarar, Sri Kasi Visalakshi, Sri Madurai Meenakshi and Sri Kanchi Kamakshi which are drawn with contrast colours making it look eye captivating. The Temple has an East facing Sub Shrine of Sri Vaarahi Amman which would keep any Devotees spellbound. She is seen in a seated posture and the Gopuram of Her Sub Shrine carries a coloured Idol of Sri Vaarahi Amman. Likewise there is a Sub Shrine of Sri Baktha Anjaneyar. The Gopuram of this Sub Shrine has a coloured Image of Sri Baktha Anjaneyar whereas within His Sub Shrine He is seen East facing and in a standing posture with clasped hands. The Navagraha Sannadhi has been built spectacularly and its Gopuram has a coloured Idol of Sri Surya Bhagwan in His Chariot drawn by 7 Horses. The Navagraha Idols are displayed hexagonally. There is a South facing Sub Shrine of Sri Swarna Bhairavar who is seen along with His Vaahanam.

The Idols of Sri Naaga Lingam, Sri Valli, Devasena Samedha Sri Subramaniyar, Sri Narthana Vinayagar, Sri Dhakshinamoorthy, Sri Maha Vishnu, Sri Brahmma, Sri Siva Durgai and Navagraha Idols had been installed in the year 1998. The Idols of Sri Vaarahi Amman, Sri Baktha Anjaneya Swamy and Sri Swarna Bhairavar had been installed in the year 2024. The following functions of Vinayagar Chathurthi, Skandahara Chathurthi, Kiruthigai, Maha Shivarathiri, Arudhra Dharisanam, Theipirai Panchami and Theipirai Ashtami are celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. This Temple has ample space and hence all the Sub Shrines of this Temple including the Moolasthanam couild be circumambulated by the Devotees. The Temple is very well looked after and maintained by the Thondaimandala Aadhisaiva Velalar Group for which they have be applauded.
