The full name of the Temple is Sri Perundevi Nayika Sametha Sri Venkatavaradha Perumal Temple. This Temple is located in a place called Paruthipattu Agraharam on the banks of River Kosasthalai not far away from Avadi. The Temple is supposed to have been built around 500 years ago and there is still a photograph of it hung in this Temple. It has an East facing five tiered Rajagopuram which looks exquisite. Beneath the Rajagopuram there is an Image of Sri Venkata Varada Perumal on the left and another Image of the 43rd Jeeyar, Paruthipattu Sri Azhagiyasingar. Towards the Moolasthanam there is a Neivedhya Peedam or Bali Peedam, a Dwajasthambam or Kodi Maram and a West facing Garudalwar Sannadhi. There are two coloured Dwara Baalaka Idols who stand guard on either side of the threshold of the Sanctum Sanctorum. In the Moolasthanam Sri Venkatavaradha Perumal is seen in a  standing posture & East facing and flanked on either side by His Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi. The Presiding Deity of Sri Venkata Varadha Perumal is seen holding a Sangu and a Chakkara in His upper hands. The right lower hand displays a Abhayahasta posture while He is seen holding a Mace in His left lower hand. The Urchavamoorthi Idol within the Moolasthanam is a typical miniature replica of the Presiding Deity. A visit to the Sri Venkata Varadha Perumal Temple in Paruthipattu tantamounts to having visited Tirumala Temple or Venkadam and Varadaraja Perumal Temple in Kancheepuram together. Such is the Power and Might of the Presiding Deity here.

The Consort of Sri Venkata Varada Perumal is Goddess Perundevi Thaayar and She has a Shrine which is East facing. She is seen in a sitting posture and there are two white Elephant Idols standing guard before Her Shrine. The Urchavamoorthy Idol of Sri Perundevi Thaayar too is flanked by two Elephant Idols. The inner peripheral of the Temple has a North facing Sub Shrine with an Idol of Sri Ramanujar and Thoopul Sri Vedanatha Desikan. The next North facing Sub Shrine comprises of the Idols of Nammalwar, Kumudhavalli Nachiyar, Thirumangai Mannan, Bashyakaarar, Nigamandha Maha Desigan, Aadhivan Sadagopa Yadheendra Maha Desigan and Sri Vansadagopa Sri Veeraraghava Sadagopa Yadeendra Maha Desigan. In the next North facing Sub Shrine the Idol of 43rd Jeeyar, Paruthipattu Sri Azhagiyasingar who established this Temple.

The most eye appealing and sprakling area of the Temple is that of the Kannaadi Arai. The outer walls of the Kannaadi Arai has several beautiful coloured Images of Gods and Goddess. This place is full of mirrors kept at different angles. These angular mirrors therefore shows different Images and is eye appealing to those who see it. The Kannaadi Arai is East facing and it has a beautifully etched wooden doors in which the Images of Dasavathaaram and Ashtalakshmi are carved. The Ashtalakshmi Images are as follows: Gajalakshmi, Aadhilakshmi, Dhanalakshmi, Dhanyalakshmi, Santhanalakshmi, Vijayalakshmi, Dhairayalakshmi and Vidhyalakshmi. The following Dasavathara Images which are etched on the wooden door of the Kannadi Arai are as follows: Maccha Avatharam, Koorma Avatharam, Varaha Avatharam, Narasimha Avatharam, Vamana Avatharam, Parasurama Avatharam, Rama Avatharam, Balarama Avatharam, Krishna Avatharam and Kalki Avatharam. On either side of the doors of the Kannadi Arai an Image of Sri Ramanujan and Sri Swami Desigan is seen.

There is a Yaaga Saalai and close to this are two South facing Sub Shrine of Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar and Chakkrathalwar. The rear side of Chakkarathalwar bears a North facing Yoga Narasimhar. The Sub Shrine of Sri Anjaneyar is North facing and close to this is the Temple store room and a display board mentioning the details of that particular day. The Temple has facilities for the staff quarters at its rear side. The Temple has a Madapalli or Temple Kitchen and Prasadams are distributed to all Devotees visiting this Temple. They have earmarked a vehicular parking area to the left of the Temple.

The Pavitrothsavam is celebrated with great fanfare and on par with Varadharaja Perumal Temple Kancheepuram. Navarathri is yet another function worth mentioning. This Temple is in the hands of Courteous and Wise Iyengars who manage the Temple very well and treat the Devotees with utmost care.
