This Temple is located in a hamlet called Kothamangalam just beyond Virinchipuram in Vellore District. It is located amidst a forest like area and there is a single temporary road leading upto the Temple premises. The Presiding Deity is Sri Maragadha Eswarar who is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. His Consort here is Goddess Marakathambikai who is another form of Goddess Parvathi. The Temple is being spruced up and tiles are being laid and all Idols and other places are being colourfully painted in various colours. It is believed that the Presiding Deity of Marakadeeswarar was found in a field here in the form of a Maragadhalingam which was a Swayambulingam. Lord Maraghadeeswarar is found in the Sanctum Sanctorum in the form of a Siva Lingam, facing the Presiding Deity is a Nandhi Bhagawan and a Balipeedam.  His Consort Goddess Maragadambigai is found in another Sub Shrine. There are Sub Shrines for Maha Vishnu, Brahmma, Lord Ganesha, Dhakshinamoorthy, Durgai and Chandikeswarar. The Shrines of  Maragadheewarar and Maragadambigai are both fitted with strong wooden doors. The entire Temple is  being colourfully painted and they intend erecting a compound wall too with hollow blocks. Since the Temple is located  in the midst of agricultural lands parking the Cars might be a bit difficult. It is believed that Devotees who come and Pray here would be rid of all their Health ailments very soon.  Those willing to donate to this Temple could contact Mr.Raghu.
