The Temple is located in a village called Kariseri close to Sivakasi and Virudhunagar. This Temple is supposed to be more than 500 years old. The Presiding Deity is Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal who is an incarnation of  Maha Vishnu. This is a very rare Temple where the Presiding Deity of Sri Lakshminarayana Perumal is made out of a rare mixture of Herbs called as  Nava Paashanam. Here Lakshmi Narayana Perumal could be seen in a sitting posture with Goddess Lakshmi on His lap It is a wonderful sight to see Goddess Mahalakshmi on the folded lap of Sree Lakshminarayana Perumal. Though the Devotees visitng this Temple is less on weekdays, it simply swells on weekends and Thirumanjanam days  to have a glimpse of this Perumal. There are Sub Shrines in this Temple for Ganapathi and Varahar.
